John Danks brings a wide variety of life and career experiences to the PhD team of advisors.  He is a former 4-year Basketball letterman, and assistant coach at the University of Texas.  John then spent 21 yrs as a lobbyist in the Transportation & Oil and Gas industry in Texas. 

 

He is married to Renee, and they have three children, John jr., Jordan, and Emily.  John jr. pitched in the major leagues for the Chicago White Sox and is a Synergy client. Jordan played in the majors for the Chicago White Sox and Philadelphia Phillies and is also a Synergy client. Emily was an All-American volleyball letterman at Ohio State.
